How Does Monolithic Construction Work?

Monolithic Construction involves the use of a single continuous pour of concrete to create a seamless and integrated structure. Similar to how metal objects are casted, the process begins by constructing formwork, which serves as a mold for the desired structure. Once the formwork is in place, concrete is poured into it, filling every nook and cranny to ensure structural integrity. As the concrete sets and cures, it solidifies into a single, monolithic entity. Once the concrete has fully hardened, the formwork is removed, revealing the finished structure. This method eliminates the need for multiple construction phases and reduces the reliance on skilled labor, resulting in faster construction times and cost savings.
